Does anyone use the Boye knitting needle set?  I have a coupon at Joanns for 50% off so they would be 35 dollars for the set.  But if they are not good I won't get them.  Thanks for any advice.  Hugs:)

I use them a lot.   They are not fancy and they are not plastic - I like them. My mother had a lot of the Boye....    I'd go for it

I got a handful of the Boye needles (for making socks) and was using them til I bought my set of Options from KnitPicks.
I would buy the Knit Picks Options needles again over the Boye, I just
like them so much better.
I read at a lot of knit sites and Miss Kitty said that she also liked them better than any other's she had ever tried.
So I bought mine. I just got them in the mail a couple of days ago and I am loving them!

The cord is so much more flexable than the Boye I think is one plus
that I like better

I had a set of Boye and gave them away. The cables are thick and not a very smooth connection.(sp?)
Sorry to repeat myself but I love my Knitpicks.. I also like the addi's but they cost alot more..

I bought the Boye set at Michaels with their 50% off coupon.  I have used them but like everyone says the cables are kinda stiff.  But, I will keep them and use them since I bought them!

Oh Marsha, you silly woman
I got the Options needles only because Of what I had read and all
and Miss Kitty having and loving them.
I hadn't bought my needles yet except for 3 or 4 circulars and 4 DPN sets.
I just lucked out

Well, I did like my Options until yesterday.
The cord that attaches to the piece that screws onto the hooks, it is coming loose
I would be one to get a reject

Well call me happy now!
I just got off of the phone with KnitPicks and they are sending asap a replacement for the broken one. They are also going to send me one of the small ones too, one of those feel a little twisty. I can feel movement in it too.

They had me to check all of them. There was one in the 30" (the one I'm using) and one in the 24" ones. You get two of each in the set.

It was are very easy to work with them. The lady on the phone was so nice!

Well, this one I am working with finally bit the dust last night. It fell out.
Hubby is going to super glue it for me   I am so glad they send two
of each size, I want to work on my blanket some today
Yeah, they were right on it like they should be, great customer service
and that means a lot!

I agree with the others about the Boye.  I have a set that was given to me and they are not as nice as I'd hoped.  I have a set of Denise Interchangeables and they are fantastic!  I plan to get a set of Knitpicks Options soon...I have several of their wood circulars and LOVE them!!
