Hello everyone I'm Debbie from mid Ohio. I'm so glad to be here. I saw the link on CrochetPatternCentral where a member here has a link for a 12" square she designed. Thought I'd check you out.
I love to crochet, garden, and play with my grand kids. I have 9 of my own & 4 step gs of hubby's. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
Happy Crocheting!
Debbie

Hi, Kathy! Thanks for the welcome.
I just realized the pattern is yours! LOL Vicki's Teatime square. I have been trying to make it and got stuck! I don't know if it's supposed to curl up but the number of stitches is right. I completed the teapot and it starts curling on round 5 after that. Any ideas? Maybe because I'm using ww not Simply Soft.
But I'm very glad to be here. Thanks for letting me join.

Hi, Peggy. I'm actually in the northeast part of Ohio. I did look Ironton up on the map & it is many miles south of me. Hope to get to know you. I am working on YarnArts toys.
They are really fun!

We are so glad to have you join us here,
and if you need any help with anything, just give a yell!
Ahhhh, I didn't know they had a pattern of mine on there!
That is so exciting, I have got to go take a look see
I designed that square for a comfortghan for Vicki (mythunderbird)
back about 3 1/2 years ago I think it was.
Best I can remember, it will tend to curl just a tad, but when you continue to crochet, it flattens out. I didn't notice it much with the cotton, but I have heard that it does with the acrylics (like RH worsted).
You might try do do less in count around the last two rounds when using the worsted, that might help it not to curl as much. |

My grandkids are 12-17 yrs old. They don't want to play with Gram or Gramps anymore . Heck they don't even want to be around mom and dad anymore.. |

Hi Kathy
I checked CrochetPatternCentral and I guess I forgot where I did see the link! My memory isn't the greatest! But I sent Rachel the link & she said she would add it there.
May I ask what your thunderbird means?

Hi Miss Kitty
Thank you for the welcome.
My grand children have been around me since day 1. I started babysitting for them while their parents worked and now I try to go to school functions and still sit for 2 of them. They can keep you humble! LOL
I'm happy to be here.
