I am not feeling very well today.Woke up at 2:15 my head throbbing - it was my neighbor's music (the music isn't so bad but he has heavy bass ). So I called the police. Of course then I couldn't get back to sleep.... good thing as at 3:10 he slammed on the bedroom wall. Today he went away so it has been quiet. Sophia & I took a nap (me on the couch) but I am still shaky & have a storming headache.
When I went into the office that takes care of this place the head person just shook her head & said we sent him a letter. So I am figuring it was like a warning in writing. Fat lot of good that will do.
It would be awfully tempting if I lived closer to Detroit to arrange a drive by LOL no not really it is just a shame one person can get away with this constant harrassment & all the head person says is you can't prove that is what he is doing.
I gave them 17 pages of dates, times, infor this has been going on since last July. The last page had about this morning.
So I am sitting here in the quiet with a tremendous headache (even if I can't spell it), I have a cup of coffee & bottle of cherry coca-cola venting with you sweet ladies. I know you will have all kinds of ideas but if I do anything (like put one of my Kid Rock discs on at 10am, play them both plus my David Allan Coe disc ) all it would do is make things worse & I'd be lowering myself to his level. He has tried to get me to come out & get into a yelling match with him. Now that would really be a stupid no win situation!
ok thank you all now I will take a deep breath & try to relax a bit until It gets home

Sorry Marsha that you have a bad headache x2. I know it's very annoying when a neighbor acts like that. Try maybe a white noise machine or ear plugs. I know it's not fair you having to do anything but it's better than the alternative. Good wishes to you for a peaceful night.
I'm sorry your neighbor is like that. One time we had some horrible neighbors. They weren't even next to us, they were across the hall. I complained to the office, called the police... Finally found out from the office that if they got three written complaints, they would evict the people. So I wrote three letters. Don't know if the laws are like that in Ohio, or not... It's ridiculous. I hope your headache gets better and something will be done about that neighbor.

Now that the police have came out, maybe your landlord will do something. There is a for sure report on it now as to which apartment it is coming from.
If I were you, I would call the police everytime your neighbor does this.
Maybe after enough aggravation from him, to you, then to the police, then from the police to your landlord, maybe they will finally get the push to move his butt out!
I hate to hear that you are having to put up with such, I had a similar problem before and you just have to stand your ground. Keep on pushing and eventually your landlord will have to make him move.
Good luck Marsha and I hope your headache is gone now and you get to have a good nights rest
oh Kathy last nite was like the 5th call to the police plus 3 visits to the station, the rental office this morning said they sent him a letter....
tonite he turned it on loud for about half an hr at like 20 after 12 I was watching a movie. But I made note of it.

You do have a problem. I would call your local mayor and let him (or her) know and see if something can't be done.
Do you all have a noise ordinance? Thank God we do here in Bowling Green, that helps so much. We never have loud music probs and that is so nice.
We did in the last city where we lived and I know it is hard to get it stopped...short of moving to somewhere else.
See you tomorrow hun, hope it stays quiet and your headache will ease up.
get some sleep
Sorry your not feeling well.Bad neighbors can be annoying. Hope you feel better and you can have some peace and quiet.

well he played his music not cranked but louder than usual from 12:20 to 12:41 all was quiet the rest of the nite...
he just keeps diggin his hole deeper...
thank you all for you good wishes it does help esp today for some reason my pain levels are higher than usual. But the sun is shining... my hen & chicks plants look good.... pulled all the leaves away from them this morning (we aren't allowed to plant things in the yard but I have it in a small clay pot .... the pot is laying on its side right in the corner by the porch which is a hard place for the lawn people so it is ok)
