Oh, those are cute. I do crochet toys for charity, maybe I'll try knitting some of those. Thanks for the link, Miss Kitty. I hope you feel better soon. I got sunburned taking the kids to the pool on Wednesday. I felt so sick yesterday. Like I had a mild flu. Next time I am making someone put sunscreen on ME. The six year old did put some after-sun lotion on my back for me, last night.

I used to sew with my grandmothers treadle machine. Don't out your finger in front of the footer. They do not stop on a dime.
Kahud48 and anoramaxsis- hope you two are feeling better..

See told you I'm a Zombie. They are Comfort Dolls. Like these.. Instead of having a seam I use a provisional cast on and 2 circ. needles. I stuff before I close the hat. Mindless knitting.
Can I ask something about esty- Can you have a pattern for sale ($6.00) for a pattern that you can get free? |

Miss Kitty, thanks for the warning! I need to tune the machine a bit, and get some more needles.
I'm working on a simply lap blanket this week. Nice to do something familiar and easy. Too much else going on.
Hope everyone is feeling much better! |

Oh, it's peeling. :( My skin felt all weird, so I knew it was going to peel. I do feel better, though. Thanks. :)

MwaM, sorry your skin has needed to recover. The desert sun is rough. I had no idea that those years in the desert would show up so dramatically in later years.
Wish I'd stayed out of the sun, put sunscreen on every day, and kept my neck and arms covered, worn hats, etc.
My sister and I both agree on this. Atlanta's sun is nothing like what Arizona's sun does. |

I thought that by putting the lotion on you might forgo the peeling.. Sorry..
Though for some reason my hubbie like to peel my skin off when I'm peeling.. I just tell him "Stop touching me."
