Wow, that is gorgeous.
Looks like it would take forever to make though. I'm just not that quick with thread. |

It is done in motifs so that may be quicker than, say following a filet
chart for a wall hanging or such. I've done a big piece in filet and if you mess
up on a line two or three rows back, it's frog city!
I think I am going to try this motif today! |

| That is very beautiful, reminds me of a blazing star quilt block. That would make a really nice heirloom throw. |

Well, I tried to complete a motif yesterday, but life got in the way.
I have about half of one motif done. Filet is easy but slow for me.
When I get it done I will show a pic in the show and tell section.
That throw takes 35 squares! Let's see, two days to a square-
eek! 70 days!! LOL! Maybe I will make placemats out of the pattern! |

This pretty much describes me. I have so many patterns saved.
Don't get me started on the print outs I have stacked all over the place.

Yep, this is why I don't think I'd ever want to tackle something like this. Thread just takes so long, and it's really not my most favorite medium. Sock weight is about as small as I can go, and really enjoy the project.
I like thread, but it really makes my hands hurt. |

Really pretty! Thanks for sharing the pattern. I could never do this...I'm thread phobic except for small stuff like snowflakes and a doily here and there.
