I was at Hobby Lobby today. Now I must admit I love Hobby Lobby. I could spend hours there. I found knitting needles marked down. Sooooo! I bought them. Oh! I found so much stuff. My daughter-in-law had never been there. She had so much fun. I found a book that teaches knitting stitches and has patterns in it for the newbie like me.

Yeah for sales. I'm glad you found good things to use. It's so nice when that happens. I had good luck at Hancock's on Saturday, got some Jiffy yarn and Schmetz sewing machine needles on sale.
Does your DIL knit or crochet? |

| I was so excited to find the things I did. I tried to teach her to crochet when she was pregnant with oldest grandchild. She does not have the patience. She does however use a daisy type motif maker. When she makes them I crochet them together for her. Where is Hancocks in Atlanta? I live in Griffin. |

Yay on your sale buys! I miss Hobby Lobby. We had one in Colorado. We have a JoAnns here (but it is an hour and a half--with traffic-- away), and a Michaels. Michaels is not so great for selection. JoAnns is better, but I think Hobby Lobby was the best all around.

Anoramaxsis, I hope that store in Morrow has lots of what you need.
I ended up getting my Susan Bates Quicksilver hooks from JoAnn's online, when they were having a sale and free shipping at the same time. No one locally had the whole set, and to buy them full price was too expensive.
I'm happy with Silvalumes, but for some things, the Quicksilvers make the work much easier.
Here's a link to the Susan Bates needles at JoAnn's, in case they appeal to you:
