Story for you guys. I bought this set back in February when I decided to learn to knit. I bought it at Michael's with a 40% off coupon. I was so excited and was imagining all the fun I was going to have with my knitting needle set! Well, once I received them, and used them, I was not as happy anymore. The joins for extending the lengths were awkward, at funky angles, and the cables were so stiff!
The tips themselves were fine, but I couldn't do the magic loop, couldn't work with them easily doing two needle circular knitting. What looked so good in the case was not functional. After using Knitpicks Options and Harmony sets, and the Addi needles, the Boye's were not cutting it for ease of use. It was way past the 30 day return policy for Michael's, so I thought I was just owning the needle kit. Then DH said email the Boye company, tell them your issues with the set, request a refund, and see what they say. So, I did. After several email communications, showing proof of purchase and paying to send the kit to them, Boye refunded my money. I got my check last week. That is Great customer service!

I am getting so I prefer bamboo needles more. Boyd used to be the best but guess there is just too much competion any more.
Glad they listened and gave your refund. |

| TXCL, I'm so glad. Let's hope they improve the design. Have you found needles you like? |

| Serena, I am liking the Knitpicks Options and Harmony needles the best. I have some Addi needles, but the tips are not as sharp. |

It's so nice to find tools that suit us. I like the sharper points on my vintage Bates hooks for many things.
I sometimes think about how many more choices we have in tools, and in yarn and thread. My mother said there was only one kind of yarn available when she was a child. It was wool.
Once I'd found I preferred the Bates hooks, and smooth fibers, crocheting became much simpler. |

I gave my Boye Needle Master set away. I just didn't like them for the same reasons.
That one reason I sent you some KP needles so you could see the difference.. Glad you got your money back. That was nice of them. |

| yeah Miss Kitty opened my eyes to the Knitpicks needles. If it wasn't for you, I would have struggled with the Boye's and hated knitting! |
