Finished working "The Rocking Horse" baby afghan. Instead of doing all rows of horses going down the afghan I just did the top and bottom boarders and made diamonds in the middle. I used the cross-over stitch for the horses.
Natural monk's cloth and TLC Heathers yarn in Teal.  Just need to throw it in the wash.
Going to start #3 today. Still thinking which one to do.. Hearts or Checkerboard..

The  pattern said to measure piece of yarn 17 widths for the first row to see how much you would really need for the rest of the rows
After I started the row and draging all that yarn though, I read that she measured from the center to the edge instead of edge to edge. So it is taking a really long time to just get the first row done. After I get this row done and see how long the yarn has to be I think it will go faster. Hopefully.....

Sounds convoluted, but probably not as bad as I am imagining it!

Yep only needed half the lenght of yarn. Pulling all that yarn though every little stitch was slow going..
